Website Design

I build websites for small business and individuals.  I also do complete website re-designs, updating content, fixing coding errors, adding new content, adding new features, html newsletter design, image editing....well you get the idea...we build websites. 

There are two primary things to consider. Your content, your "dot com" name and hosting.  I deal primarily in the design stage of creating your website.  Since this may be your first website, I can assist you in the next step, finding a host and name for your website.   Our design costs do not include the cost of a domain name and monthly hosting fees.  This website is currently hosted by godaddy.com. 

I currently program in html, dhtml javascript and flash.  Websites coded in html will be more "cost efficient" as well as universally accessible by web surfers.  If you choose to have a flash based website, the web surfer would need to have the flash program on his or her computer in order to see your website (which is rarely an issue).  Often many companies choose to have a flash website to show off their professional glimmer, while offering a mirror website in html so that their website is accessible by those with lower speed computers and lower speed internet connections. 

When you hire me you get a custom built design, not a template website.  Every website is essentially a quote which depends of how much content has to be created, coded and edited.  How fast the website is built also depends on how prepared the content is, whether you have photos ready and letters written up in advance. 

Below are some rough estimates:

10 page Html website - $250

10 page Flash website - $1,000
